About Gabi
Gabi Simpson
Physiotherapist
Gabi graduated from a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at the University of Queensland in 2022 (as Valedictorian) and brings a unique blend of elite sport experience and clinical expertise to the physiotherapy practice.
With three years’ experience in clinical rehabilitation, Gabi works across both hands-on treatment and structured rehab programming. She focuses on delivering short-term symptom relief while building long-term, sustainable solutions, helping clients not only feel better, but move better and stay better.
Across an 11-year professional netball career, she represented Australia and captained the Queensland Firebirds. That journey gave her a front-row seat to what “gold standard” rehabilitation truly looks like - and a deep empathy for the physical and mental grind of pain, injury and recovery.
Her leadership experience has shaped her belief that every individual is unique, motivated by different drivers, and deserving of a tailored approach. She prides herself on equipping people with the mindset skills needed to achieve the best possible outcome from their rehabilitation, mindset skills that also translate into thriving in life and sport.
Born in Sydney, she is a loyal NSW Blues, Sydney Swans and Roosters supporter. This has created some healthy rivalry throughout her time in Queensland. After moving up from Brisbane at the start of the year to get back to the beach, you’ll now find her playing AFL, having daily ocean dips, or walking around with a double-shot piccolo in hand.
