Max Quigley

Physiotherapist

Max graduated from the Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Deans List Commendations) in 2019. Since then he has worked in Brisbane amongst high level sports clinics, professional and amateur sporting teams and has experience as an Orthopaedic Clinical Support Specialist. Max has worked as the head Physiotherapist for Ipswich Knights FQPL, GPS Premier Grade Rugby Union, Brisbane Grammar First XV and was assisting the Queensland Reds Men’s team with their injury rehabilitation.
Max played Premier Grade Rugby Union for Easts in Brisbane and was a member of the Brisbane Lions Academy and Queensland Under 18s AFL team. Given his background he has a keen interest in sporting populations and acute injury management. He also has a passion for treating orthopaedic surgeries having a strong understanding of the surgical procedures and rehabilitation given his six years as a Physiotherapist and time working for Stryker as a Clinical Support Specialist.
Max has recently moved to the Sunshine Coast to enjoy living at the beach and surf more. He has a strong desire to immerse himself in the Sunshine Coast community and assist patients so they can take advantage of the benefits the area has to offer. Max believes that Physiotherapists and patients should work as a team in order to achieve their goals. He understands that thorough assessments and meticulous patient centred treatment is the best method in order to improving clients as quickly as possible. No patient’s goals and injuries are the same and he understands that each case is unique and requires a high level of understanding and implementation of the skills he has developed.
